Woman Arrested After Setting a Car On Fire That She Thought Was Her Ex’s
A woman in Clearwater, Florida was arrested and charged with second-degree arson on Saturday after surveillance video footage revealed that she’d set a car on fire last month. According to the Tampa Bay Times, Carmen Chamblee, 19, allegedly told police that she believed the vehicle belonged to her ex-boyfriend. Unfortunately for the actual owner of the car, however, it did not.
According to the Clearwater Police Department, Chamblee was recognized by a deputy from the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office last weekend and taken into custody for booking. She is currently being held at Pinellas County Jail, and had her first court appearance on Sunday.
